Leadership

The Alliance leadership team is a distinguished group of seasoned professionals with deep expertise in cybersecurity, information technology, intelligence, national security, homeland security, and public safety. They have held senior executive roles across the public and private sectors, where they have led high-performing teams, managed critical programs, and delivered innovative, mission-driven solutions.

Their experience spans the Department of Defense, featuring roles such as Chief Technology Officer of the Department of the Air Force and senior military officers in the Department of the Army. It also includes the Department of Homeland Security (CISA) and other federal agencies. They have held top leadership positions in industry, including CIO and CTO of AT&T Government Solutions, Lockheed Martin, and other companies. One individual also served as a top aide to senior leaders and lawmakers in Congress.

Drew Hiatt

Chairman

Drew conceived and leads the Alliance. He has advised and assisted several IT clients with PR, media relations, brand strategy, business development, marketing, public affairs, and social media engagement services and solutions. Clients have included Amazon Web Services, AT&T Defense, Brocade, Dell Technologies, DLT Solutions, EMC, Ruckus Networks, SAP, and Splunk, among others. 

In addition to his corporate career, Drew has a distinguished public service career. He held leadership, policy, and communication positions in the administration of President George H.W. Bush and with congressional leaders and lawmakers in the House and Senate, managing a broad portfolio of IT issues, policy, legislation, funding, and procurement. As an elected member of the Loudoun County, Virginia Board of Supervisors, he represented the Dulles District, a global Internet, technology, and data center hub with tech giants such as Amazon Web Services, Northrop Grumman, and Verizon. Ashburn, Virginia, in the district, is known as “Data Center Alley,” boasting the world’s highest concentration of data centers. Drew served on the prestigious Northern Virginia Technology Council. He also served as a senior consultant to a contractor supporting the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, focusing on critical infrastructure protection and survivability.  

Frank Konieczny

Chief Innovation Officer

Frank serves as the innovation officer for the Alliance. He has extensive experience in the commercial sector as well as the government sector providing application transformation/modernization capabilities. He is currently providing independent technical consulting/solutioning and technical advisory board services to organizations in both the commercial and government sector. Clients range from small tech startups to larger corporations for strategy/marketing development within mission-based technology areas such as cybersecurity/risk management, networking/5G/IOT, data governance/access/AI-ML development, hybrid cloud management, digital migration/transformation, simulation/modeling, and quantum technologies.

As the Air Force Chief Technology Officer (2010-2021), his primary responsibility was to advance the Information Technology landscape of the Air Force with the development of the AF Target Baseline and associated strategies: Data Management, AI, 5G and Quantum. Focus areas included mobility enterprise solutions (including BYOD), 5G/LTE/secure networks, data governance/management, automated financial audit issue resolution, Identity-Credential-Access Management/Zero Trust configurations, automated asset management, mesh networks, AI tools/capabilities, and cyber and technology innovation pathfinders. He served as the AF principal in several AF/DoD/DISA meetings including Digital Modernization EXCOM, MPE Executive Steering Committee, CFO/CMO/CIO Sync, and Cybersecurity Engineering Review Group. In his CTO role. He has coordinated several technology efforts across Federal and DoD/IC agencies. 

At AT&T Government Solutions, he was the CIO, CTO and Director of Programs and Operations where he provided support for overall corporate operations (P&L) management for subsidiary organization ($250M subsidiary, 1,000+ people, with offices across the US), strategic technological efforts including internal business software design/development, IR&D efforts, proposal development/oversight, QA, and technical expertise to a wide spectrum of projects within the Government sector.

Seven Anderson

Chief of Operations & Growth

Seven provides executive work consulting and business development. He has over 40 years of industry experience within the DOD, Intelligence Community, commercial, and federal healthcare IT space. He has proudly managed many programs (STEMS, SCOMS, and UCC/ISC) within Lockheed Martin (LM) during his very distinguished 26-year career with it. Post Lockheed Martin, he has captured over $100M in work revenue and participated in several proposal efforts. Seven is an excellent motivator and a customer favorite. He maintains a solid reputation for getting things done on time and within budget. His experience includes and is not limited to the following: Program and Project Management, Business Development, Work Capture (Shipley Certified), Technical Writing, Contract Transition, and Program Startup Success. He has personally designed and managed hundreds of IT installations, data centers, and facility fit-ups for multiple customers within the DOD, Intelligence, and Health & Life Sciences Community.  

Seven has led many successful Kaizens resulting in hundreds of thousands of dollars in savings in the areas of LAN room power, classified conveyances, technology refresh, Crisis Management escalations, Configuration Management, and SSL certification lifecycle management. He is a Certified Manager granted through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers/James Madison University and a Certified Systems Integrator (Systems Integration Methodology) – Penn State University. Specific Work Specialties: Program Management; Human Resources; Staffing; Negotiation; Operations Leadership; Customer/Partner Relationships; New Business Development; Voice/Data Engineering; Managed Services; Capture Management; Configuration Management; and Project Management, Risk, and IT Governance. President Obama awarded Seven the “Presidential Lifetime Achievement” for Volunteerism in recognition of his donating over 5,000 hours during his career (Heart Walk, Downs Syndrome Walk, Scrapbooks for Foster Care children, Food Drives, Veteran’s related charities, Youth Sports, School events, Operation Thanksgiving, Scouting, Community Cleanups, etc.)
